Founded 1972 by Hyman Golden, Arnold Greenberg and Leonard Mars and popularized by "Wendy the Snapple Lady." Sold to Quaker Oats in 1994, who fired Wendy and sold the company to Triarc, holding company for Arby's, in 1997. Cadbury Schweppes acquired Triarc's beverage operations in 2000.
