School of the Americas
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
Originally housed in Panama, in 1984 the School of the Americas was relocated to Ft. Benning, Georgia. On December 15, 2000 the school was officially renamed the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation.
