Cornell College
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
Founded by Rev. George Bryant in 1853 as Iowa Conference Seminary, name changed two years later to Cornell College, after philanthropist William Wesley Cornell. A more famous Cornell, Cornell University, was founded 15 years later in Ithaca.
