The demi-god Perseus, son of the god Zeus, falls in love with Andromeda, daughter of Cassiopeia. Perseus must cross the river Styx and defeat the gorgon Medusa without being turned to stone, and then the Kraken, to whom Andromeda is to be sacrificed. Complicated story is actually a simplification of the mythology. All-star cast with stop-motion animation by Ray Harryhausen.
