ABSTRACT
College graduate Rebecca Bloomwood, a fashion-enamored young woman prone to living well beyond her means, accidentally snags a job writing as a penny-wise "advice columnist" for a major finance magazine following a letter-writing mix-up. Rebecca's unconventional spin on time-worn economic advice makes her the toast of her employer and a growing fan base of loyal readers; her past life threatens to catch up with her, however, forcing Rebecca to work to prevent her spendthrift history from crashing her new-found success.
