Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (18-Sep-1969)

Director: Paul Mazursky

Writers: Paul Mazursky; Larry Tucker

Music: Quincy Jones

Producer: Larry Tucker

Keywords: Comedy

Los Angeles couple Bob & Carol attend a therapeutic encounter group session, after which they try to co-opt their friends Ted and Alice into mutual shared sexual experimentation. Though a quite tame (and dated) farce by today's standards, absolutely scandalous when it was released in 1969. Received Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Actress, Best Story and Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.
