Home free after serving multiple tours of duty in Iraq, a Marine embarks on a search for a woman he'd believed to be his good luck charm in combat.

ABSTRACT
Logan Thibault, a Marine in the midst of his third tour of duty in Iraq, wakes up one morning to the sight of something off in the distance glinting in the Sun. Upon walking over and finding a photograph of a young woman with "keep safe x" scrawled out on the back, a mortar attack strikes and destroys his prior location, killing several of his fellow soldiers. Believing the woman to be a positive omen, Logan keeps the photo with him, immediately moving to find and hopefully connect with her upon his return to America.
