Quarantine (10-Oct-2008)

Director: John Erick Dowdle

Writers: Drew Dowdle; John Erick Dowdle

Keywords: Horror, Found Footage

A reporter and her cameraman become trapped inside an apartment building playing host to a terrifying virus.

Los Angeles-based reporter Angela Vidal heads to an area fire station with her cameraman in tow, intending to cover the goings-on of the precinct's night shift. A 911 call leads the crew to a nearby apartment block; blood-curdling screams from an apartment are followed by news that the CDC has quarantined the building, trapping Angela and her cameraman inside as they are forced to contend with a virus capable of turning humans into bloodthirsty killers and its victims. Close remake of the superior Spanish thriller [Rec] (2007), similar down to the name of its main character.
