Film adaptation of the 1994 novel of the same name follows a woman who must confront her troubled romantic past in her burgeoning line of work.

ABSTRACT
Recent divorcee Stephanie Plum, unemployed and with nary a cent to her name, takes up a job as an enforcement agent with her cousin's bail bond firm in a desperate attempt to restart her life. From there, she is tasked with the chase of Joe Morelli, a crooked former vice cop and current bail-jumper who just so happened to take her virginity back in high school, and finds herself forced to balance out her own bad memories and troubles dealing with associates with the pursuit of her target.
