Darkness Falls (24-Jan-2003)

Director: Jonathan Liebesman

Writers: John Fasano; Joe Harris; James Vanderbilt

Keywords: Horror

A woman lynched by her community returns as a demonic spirit 150 years later, determined to unleash chaos.

The sleepy town of Darkness Falls played host to a kindly older woman nicknamed "The Tooth Fairy" in the nineteenth century, a lady who would give area children gold coins in exchange for their recently-lost teeth; sen as a threat to her community after a mysterious incident at her house left her unable to go out into light, she was hanged. In the present day, "The Tooth Fairy" -- now the stuff of local legend -- stalks the only young man capable of surviving her evil, bent on killing him and taking his childhood girlfriend's younger brother with her.
