ABSTRACT
Third sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). The year is 1957. Agents from the Soviet Union determined to get a leg up on the Americans in the thick of the Cold War follow time-worn professor Henry "Indiana" Jones to Peru after learning of his plans to retrieve a "skull" constructed out of a piece of quartz, drawing him back into a conflict to beat them to uncovering the strange -- and, potentially, powerful -- secret behind the skull.
