Former news reporter Evan Baxter, now a Congressman, receives an order from God to build an ark in anticipation of a cataclysmic flood.

ABSTRACT
Sequel to Bruce Almighty (2003). Buffalo news reporter Evan Baxter, a somewhat changed man following the events of Bruce Almighty, mounts a successful bid for Congress on a platform of idealism and change. Believing himself possessed by a well-intentioned mission to "change the world", Evan crashes to Earth when long-tenured Congressman Long compels him to support a bill allowing industrial development in national parks, only to have God appear to him and command him to build an ark not unlike Noah before him in preparation for a great flood.
