Zombieland (25-Sep-2009)

Director: Ruben Fleischer

Writers: Rhett Reese; Paul Wernick

Producer: Gavin Polone

Keywords: Horror/Comedy, Zombie

A cast of offbeat characters must join forces in a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic United States and find sanctuary together.

ABSTRACT
Standing as a darkly comedic takeoff on formulaic zombie thrillers, Zombieland focuses on "Columbus", a college student attempting to travel from Texas to Ohio two months following an outbreak of "mad person disease" to find out if his parents are still alive. Along the way, "Columbus" teams up with "Tallahassee", a gun-toting survivalist with an affinity for Twinkies, and con artist sisters "Wichita" and "Little Rock" as they decide to head for a supposed zombie-free oasis in California together.
