A band of plucky early-twentieth century explorers search for the lost continent of Atlantis.

ABSTRACT
Well-read orphan Milo Thatch toils away in a museum's boiler room, convinced of the existence of the "lost" land of Atlantis thanks to homegrown theories largely scorned by friends and colleagues. Hard-pressed to find someone to fund a prospective mission to find the mythical island, Milo is ultimately introduced to Preston B. Whitmore, affluent friend of his late grandfather, sent out on an expedition to locate the missing realm fraught with peril and uncertainty at seemingly every turn.
