Featuring famous Japanese auteur "Beat" Takeshi Kitano in the director's chair and lead role, The Blind Swordsman: Zat˘ichi follows its classic titular character, a blind 19th-century masseur and master swordsman, as he is forced to put his skills to the test upon encountering danger in the form of a gang leader ruling a mountain town with an iron fist and intrigue presenting itself as two captivating geishas out to avenge their father's murder.
