Original Title: North Sea Hijack

Director: Andrew V. McLaglen

Writer: Jack Davies

From novel: Esther, Ruth and Jennifer by Jack Davies

Keywords: Action/Adventure, Terrorism, Hijacking

Hijackers seize two British oil rigs in the North Sea and threaten their demolition if a large ransom is not paid. At stake are 600 lives and the health of the British economy. Selected to fix the situation is a commando team led by the highly capable Rufus Excalibur ffolkes, lowercase "ff", a former member of the admiralty who drinks his whiskey neat, does needlework to help himself think, and has replaced the women in his life with cats. Filmed on a low budget but still an exciting psychological thriller.
