A police officer killed in the line of duty is recruited into a force of ghostly police officers tasked with pacifying nefarious elements of the afterlife.

ABSTRACT
Nick Walker, a Boston police detective recently killed by accident in the line of duty, is partnered up with veteran officer Roy Pulsipher in the Rest In Peace Department upon being recruited into the force after his death. Tasked with protecting the living inhabitants of Earth from malevolent specters who refuse to make a peaceful transition to the afterlife, he must also embark on a side mission to find the man responsible for his death.
