Shunned by his peers, an uptight college freshman falls in love with a streetwise coed pursuing one of his professors.

ABSTRACT
Paul Tannek, NYU college freshman hailing from the Midwest, is an uptight bookworm facing intense difficulty blending in amongst his peers. Coed Dora Diamond sympathizes with his plight; broke and practically homeless, she scrapes by as a waitress at a strip club. Street-smart Dora trades her advice for a place to stay with Paul while she searches for better-paying work, sparking an infatuation in the awkward young man that sees him working to win her away from Edward Alcott, a professor and object of her affection.
