True-crime drama provides a fictionalized account of events leading up to the 2002 D.C. Beltway sniper attacks.

Inspired by the real-life D.C. Beltway sniper attacks of 2002, Blue Caprice tells a story of how Lee Malvo, an abandoned young boy without a sense of direction, is lured to the United States by exploitative father figure John Allen Muhammad and compelled to participate in a series of random shootings with a sniper rifle fired from the trunk of a blue Chevy Caprice.
