Shoot (28-May-1976)
Director: Harvey Hart Writer: Dick Berg From a novel by: Douglas Fairbairn Keywords: Drama
REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 1-Aug-2006) The movie is more of a collectors item than
a classic film. I remember that I saws the movie when it first came out
because I loved the book so much. Well, good thing I did because the
movie was pulled from distribution and never seen again. Oh, I have
seen VHS copies going for well over $50.00 but I never had the nerve to
buy one. A footnote, I had the pleasure of meeting Cliff Robertson (the
star of the film) about 2 years ago and I asked him whatever happened
to the film. He was surprised that I remembered that film of all his
others, and said that there was a problem with the rights because many
scenes were filmed in Canada. I would really like to see this book made
into a movie again.
