Bert, Jeff, Karen, Marcy, and Paul are five offbeat friends and recent college graduates looking to have fun over the summer with a rented cabin in the woods. An encounter with a transient dying from a flesh-eating virus leads to the inadvertent infection of the local water supply when the man is turned away from the group and into a stream, forcing our protagonists to fight a desperate battle for their lives as they are infected one by one.

Review by Patricia Venue (posted on 19-Feb-2005)

It's 2003. Alhough this year did come forward with some good films, there were some definite exceptions. Cabin Fever was one of them.

In the start, it's a party in the woods: a few kids, and then, a totally unexplained flesh-eating virus comes along and kills everybody off. The verdict: Cabin Fever is a huge disappointment.
