ABSTRACT
Cedric Brown, a recently widowed British man, faces immense difficulties reining in the mischievous and destructive behavior of his seven children to the point that seventeen nannies have refused to look after them. A mysterious voice directs Cedric to hire the services of a magical, yet off-putting, woman named Nanny McPhee; he acquiesces, bringing the lady into his world as she begins to change the Brown clan's lives for the better while strangely improving her own appearance.
