The Courtship of Eddie's Father (6-Mar-1963)

Director: Vincente Minnelli

Writer: John Gay

From novel by: Mark Toby

Music Score: George Stoll

Producer: Joe Pasternak

Keywords: Comedy, Drama

Recently widowed Tom Corbett seeks to remarry, and while women have expressed interest, they are not the ones his 9-year-old son Eddie find suitable: more to Eddie's taste is the girl next door, a volunteer nurse who was his mother's best friend. Sentimental, with good performance from Ron Howard but becoming quite dated. Became a long-running television series, though one much unlike this film.
