A troublesome eight-year old boy finds his voice with the help of a patient art teacher.

Eight-year old Ishaan Awasthi is a precocious boy with a boundless, colorful imagination, one that frequently causes trouble with the authority figures in his world. His rebellious streak lands him in a boarding school designed to "re-adjust" problematic children; the new environment proves to be an unexpected blessing when he is introduced to Ram Shankar Nikumbh, a fresh-faced art teacher whose unconventional methods of instruction help Ishaan find his voice.
