All Is Bright (18-Apr-2013)

Director: Phil Morrison

Writer: Melissa James Gibson

Keywords: Comedy, Christmas

An ex-con partners up with an old pal to sell Christmas trees and raise money for a piano for his daughter.

Rene, an easygoing French-Canadian ne'er-do-well, hatches a scheme alongside cold-hearted ex-convict Dennis to travel to New York City to make money selling Christmas trees to locals. The pair, fraught with animosity stemming from their clashing personalities and Rene's stealing of Dennis's wife, must learn to get along in spite of their significant differences if they are to earn enough money to afford some luxury in their lives and purchase a much-desired piano for Dennis's estranged daughter.
