ABSTRACT
Disney Princess romp tells the story of Princess Merida, a fiercely independent young woman in medieval Scotland whose refusal to marry in accordance with kingdom tradition unleashes chaos upon the royal family. Forced into a tenuous position where she must defend her honor and the continued existence of her kingdom, Merida must rely on her own talents and bravery to reverse a terrible curse. Won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
