Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 (29-Jan-2013)

Director: Jay Oliva

Writer: Bob Goodman

From comic book by: Frank Miller

Keywords: Action/Adventure

Conclusion of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 (2012). Carrying on from where Part 1 of The Dark Knight Returns left off, Part 2 finds the Joker orchestrating an elaborate campaign to restart his own brand of terror after snapping out of his catatonic state at Arkham, ultimately dying after battling Batman and sustaining a mortal neck injury. Standing as one of the darkest portrayals of the Batman universe to date, Bruce Wayne must perform battle against a number of authority figures before squaring off against Superman himself and "dying" with an intentionally open ending left hanging in the balance.
