Sequel to 2004's Night Watch follows the continued war between Light and Dark and Anton's chance at restoring glory to a decimated Moscow.

Sequel to Night Watch (2004). Anton Gorodetsky, still caught in the middle of a protracted war between Light and Dark Others following the events of Night Watch, seeks a mythical object known as the Chalk of Fate while son Yegor falls prey to the temptations of the Dark Others and joins their ranks. Anton, himself aligned with the Light forces, protects his son from the Night Watch by destroying evidence of his attacks on mortals; all the same, he presses on in his quest for the Chalk, a vaunted talisman capable of sending the world back in time to before the war's inception and forever altering the course of history.
