A high school student is outed as gay, leading to his becoming an object of desire for several popular young women wanting a "gay best friend".

ABSTRACT
Tanner, a ho-hum high school student somewhere in suburban America, finds his popularity at school skyrocketing when he is inadvertently outed as gay. Now the highly sought-after trendy "Gay Best Friend" mean girl Fawcett, drama-club standout Caprice, and Mormon good girl 'Shley are all looking for and willing to fight over, Tanner must choose between his rapidly-improving social stock and the friends he is leaving behind, still-closeted best bud and "G.B.F."-aspirant Brent in particular, going forward.
