REVIEWS Review by Margery Slatkovsky (posted on 16-Mar-2008) I'll be honest with you, I only saw this movie because it had Mariah Carey in it, but to be honest with you, after watching it I realized it had a pretty good plot too.
I will be the first to admit, behind all the critics in the world, that Mariah Carey may need a few more acting lessons. This was not the same disappointment that Glitter was. I did watch Glitter because of MC, but never revisited it.
Mira Sorvino's roll stood out to me. She was sincere and played a heart felt roll. She was believable which made the film work. I have watched this one several times over.
If it's a lazy day and you are in for a few laughs and a reasonably good drama take a look at this one. It's not a total waste!
