ABSTRACT
Samar Anand, an immigrant struggling to adjust to life in London, falls in love with the affluent Meera whilst waiting on her at a party for her engagement to fiance Roger. When he suffers an accident on his motorbike and finds that Meera is no longer interested in seeing him, he moves back home after recovering to become a bomb disposal expert for the Indian Army; upon returning to London a decade later, he is struck by a car, leaving him with retrograde amnesia, an inability to recall events form after his first accident, and a mysterious desire to reunite with his long-lost love.
