REVIEWS

I loved this vintage Alfred Hitchcock. I had no idea it would be a comedy as well. I did not know who the actors were when I first saw it so I looked them up. I was surprised at some of them. It's the kind of movie that will keep you guessing what the 39 steps are. Until three quarters of the way through I did not know. The main two women in the story are Madeline Carroll and Peggy Ashcroft. Both show classic beauty even for an old black and white movie. Have fun and enjoy
