REVIEWS Review by Ben Geddy (posted on 8-Oct-2007) Barcelona is a magical, comedic, dialogue driven film surrounding 2 american men (cousins) in only slightly post cold war Spain. As an American who travels a bit and loves Europe; I love the situations, the photography...even the dialogue all rings true... Both Taylor Nichols and Chris Eigerman deserve 2 thumbs up as the movies principles and Whit Stillman's screenplay and direction make this a beautiful and heart warming film. I saw it at an Indie Theatre in 1994 when it came out, and purchased both the VHS, then DVD when available. I think this is one of those great films that gets richer with every viewing...
