An NFL team goes on strike, forcing the team's owner to find "replacement" players.

ABSTRACT
The NFL's Washington Sentinels go on strike, forcing team owner Edward O'Neill to work quickly to field a "replacement" team and avoid forfeiting their schedule. Former professional coach Jimmy McGinty is brought on board to lead a makeshift roster including a convenience store guard, gangsta-rapping brothers, an ex-sumo wrestler, a convict on work release, and a deaf man, all trying their best to gel as a squad and win games while team captain Shane Falco pursues a relationship with head cheerleader Annabelle Farrell.
