The Wedding Crashers (15-Jul-2005)

Director: David Dobkin

Writers: Steve Faber; Bob Fisher

Keywords: Romantic Comedy, Wedding, Washington DC

Two divorce mediators, longtime friends and business partners, spend their free time crashing weddings. They do their research; after creating elaborate backstories to explain their identities, the pair follows an informal list of rules with the end goal of exploiting lowered defenses to achieve one-night stands. This successful formula starts to go awry when one of them falls for Claire Cleary, daughter of the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, and they are invited to a family retreat.
