A retired engineer calls upon his old crewmates to join him on a mission to rescue a falling satellite.

ABSTRACT
Frank Corvin, "Hawk" Hawkins, Jerry O'Neill, and Tank Sullivan were veritable young guns when participating in the Air Force's "Project DAEDALUS" space-travel endeavor in the late 1950s, only to see their hopes of becoming the first humans in space dashed by politics surrounding the formation of NASA. Just over forty years later, a Russian satellite with an American-built guidance system threatens to fall to Earth, prompting NASA to call upon Frank to come out of retirement to repair it; seizing the opportunity, Frank assembles his aging former team, bringing them back together to aim for the stars one last time.
