Superman II (19-Jun-1981)

Director: Richard Lester

Writers: Mario Puzo; David Newman; Leslie Newman

Music Composed and Conducted by: Ken Thorne

Producer: Pierre Spengler

Keywords: Action/Adventure, Comic Book, Superman, Explosions

Superman will voluntarily relinquish his super powers to marry Lois Lane, though his timing is unfortunate as three notorious criminals from planet Krypton manage to escape from the Phantom Zone where they have been exiled. Portions filmed concurrently with Superman (1978); Richard Donner was fired and Richard Lester brought in, whose vision differed substantially from Donner's. Footages from both directors were blended into Superman II, and it shows.
