A group of struggling British retirees open an unexpected new chapter in their lives when they travel out to a dilapidated hotel in India.

ABSTRACT
A debt-saddled widowed housewife, retired judge, hard-luck old couple, bigoted ex-housekeeper in need of a cheap hip replacement, and pair of aging party animals seeking to recapture the essence of their bygone youth all decide to take up residence in a seemingly swanky retirement hotel in India after visiting its website. Arriving at their new domicile to find it in tattered condition despite the presence of its well-intentioned young manager, the cast of retirees soon learn to love their new surroundings -- and each other -- as they attempt to administer solutions to their respective situations.
