Young mouse Olivia sees her toymaker father kidnapped by Fidget, a bat hoodlum in Victorian London. Olivia is found by Dr. Dawson, who brings her to Basil, renowned detective living underneath the Baker Street apartment of Sherlock Holmes. At first disinterested, Basil takes up the case when he realizes his arch-nemesis, Professor Ratigan, is likely behind the abduction. Often overlooked Disney animated feature, fully appreciable by adult viewers.
