When in Rome (29-Jan-2010)

Director: Mark Steven Johnson

Writers: David Diamond; David Weissman

Keywords: Romantic Comedy

Kristen Bell is Beth, a New York City art curator in Rome to attend her sister's wedding. In a drunken moment she plucks four coins from the Fountain of Love; legend dictates that the person who threw the coin will fall in love with whomever took the coin; the spell can be broken by returning the coin. As it turns out all four coins were thrown by male Americans from the greater New York City area. Awful script and forced comedy which never works; not too many redeeming features.
