A Swedish family's ski vacation in the French Alps is thrown for a loop by a calamitous avalanche.

ABSTRACT
A well-off Swedish family "ruled" by patriarch Tomas are enjoying lunch during a ski vacation in the French Alps when an avalanche threatens to engulf their restaurant; a panicked Tomas adopts an every-man-for-himself attitude, leaving his wife and children behind as he scrambles for the exits. Though the raging avalanche stops short of destroying the restaurant, all is not well in Tomas' world, as he must now work to undo interpersonal damage caused by his crass display of indifference towards the well-being of his loved ones.
