Frederick Frankenstein (Fronk-en-STEEN), grandson of the Baron scientist, inherits the Transylvania castle follows the family tradition and creates a new monster, played by Peter Boyle; assisting him is Marty Feldman as the hunchback Igor (EYE-gore). Comedic retelling of Son of Frankenstein (1939), but with flourishes from all of the key early Frankenstein films. Uproariously funny; among Mel Brooks' finest work. Received Oscar nominations for Best Screenplay and Best Sound.
