Nymphomaniac: Vol. II (25-Dec-2013)

Director: Lars von Trier

Writer: Lars von Trier

Keywords: Drama

Second half of Lars von Trier's sex epic plunges into the darkest depths of Joe's perversions as she continues to recover in Seligman's care.

ABSTRACT
Sequel to Nymphomaniac: Vol. I (2013). Stories of Seligman's relatively tame pursuits throughout his existence juxtaposed with Joe's wild sex-fueled romps come to a head in this wrap-up to Lars von Trier's gritty, controversial, and ever-explicit two-part tale of decadence and debauchery. Viewers are treated to a middle-aged Joe's increasingly kinky attempts to reclaim her once-vibrant sex drive after unexpectedly losing sensation during intercourse, as well as a backstory to how she ended up in Seligman's care and whether or not he should be seen as a "good guy" or a man of ill intent bent on exploiting her in her present-day position of vulnerability.
