Max Menace, a foreigner of some sort, arrives in New York City and is pursued by various figures. We never learn who he is or why he's there. The main interest of this relic is its encounter with CBGB and persons connected with the punk scene. Key film in the genre of punk cinema, but interminable if one actually attempts a viewing. Filmed on a remarkable budget of a $5,000 car loan, gleefully acknowledged in the end credits.
