Dr. Wilfred Glendon, cataloguing species of flower in Tibet, finds success in locating the ever elusive mariphasa (reputed to be an antidote to the mythical werewolf). Upon return to London Glendon immerses himself in his work, his studies interrupted as he notices his increasingly hairy body.
