The existence of once-venerable New York City music club CBGB is explored in this documentary, which focuses on the venue -- in operation from 1972 to 2006 -- as it grew from its roots as an outlet for bluegrass music into one of the world's foremost showcases for punk outfits ranging from Patti Smith to The Ramones.
