Teenage drummer Doug Damiano dreams of becoming a rock star, and forms a rock band in the 1960s with three of his friends in suburban New Jersey. The screenplay isn't too successful, although the music is quite good. Motion picture debut of David Chase, creator of The Sopranos. Produced on a budget of $20M, the film was a financial flop, grossing only $600,000.
