Political thriller depicts the attempted assassination of the President of the United States from a number of perspectives.

ABSTRACT
United States President Henry Ashton arrives in the Spanish city of Salamanca for a pivotal summit to endorse an international treaty, becoming the victim of an assassination attempt when gunfire rings out during a planned speech in a public square. Vantage Point depicts the would-be assassin's attack on President Ashton from five separate perspectives attached to individuals hailing from differing walks of life, ultimately tying the accounts together to present viewers with a unified narrative of what went down that calamitous day.
