Kick-Ass is the whimsical story of how Dave Lizewski -- a comic book-obsessed enterprising young man from Staten Island with a knack for self-promotion -- ignores the prerequisite levels of training and/or proof of special powers expected of a superhero in his universe, purchases a bodysuit, and decides to become the very type of character he grew up idolizing.
