ABSTRACT Chon Wang, hapless member of a nineteenth-century Chinese emperor's imperial guard, heads out on a journey to the western United States along with several of his comrades after hearing tell of Princess Pei Pei's transcontinental kidnapping. Separated from his group shortly after arriving in Nevada, Chon forges a curious alliance with egotistical petty criminal and wannabe tough-guy outlaw Roy O'Bannon, embarking on an offbeat adventure filled with battles against adversaries of all shapes and sizes.
